WMV, the full name of Windows Media Video, is the name of a series of video codecs and corresponding video encoding formats developed by Microsoft. It is part of the Windows Media Framework. WMV files use Microsoft’s Advanced Systems Format (ASF) container format, so WMV files are very similar to ASF files, another file format developed by Microsoft. You can easily watch WMV videos on multiple media players such as 5KPlayer, VLC, KMPlayer, Mplayer, etc.
For a better visual effect, it is recommended that you add some special effects to the video. You can edit WMV videos by rotating, cropping, trimming, adjusting brightness, adding filters and watermarks as you want.
Besides, you can change the basic parameters of DVD disc, such as disc type, aspect ratio and video quality, by selecting parameters at the bottom of the main interface. Next to the “magic wand” icon, you can add and edit subtitles if you want.
Also, adding a DVD menu can make your DVD even better. Choose your favorite menu from menu templates. The menu has a variety of themes, such as animals, landscapes, festivals, plants, etc.. choose the one that appeals to you most.
Before creating DVDs from WMV videos, you need to insert a blank DVD disc into DVD-ROM. Then click the “Start” icon to burn WMV videos to DVD. You can find the converted video on the DVD disc after burning.
